Yu Ming’s first-ever book fair is coming to the school gym on Friday, February 17th, 12:15-2:00 p.m. This is an early-release Friday immediately preceding mid-winter break.
Yu Ming is teaming up with Panda Books, a local online retailer of Chinese-language books and resources (www.ipandabook.com). For our book fair, Panda Books has promised to bring more than 500 titles — double the number of titles available on their website — at lower prices than online. They will also donate 10% of their sales to Yu Ming, so this event will also function as a fundraiser for our school. So come to the gym next Friday and support our school while getting great deals on Mandarin-language books for your child.
Our teachers are currently compiling wishlists for their own classrooms, so this book fair will also be an opportunity for you to help build your child’s classroom library. Be on the lookout for your teacher’s wishlist, and help support your hard-working teachers!
