Our Auction & Benefit theme this year honors the breakthroughs and achievements underrepresented groups have made, whether on the silver screen or in public immersion education right here at Yu Ming. All of our students, teachers, staff, and community members are breaking barriers daily!

Come dressed in theme or as your favorite cinematic character you feel empowered by! Costumes are encouraged, or come in semi-formal/business casual.

This fundraiser accounts for ~50% of all funds our school raises during the year, funds which help support and provide for core staff and programs, including our reading specialists, teaching assistants, and programs in music, art, technology, and more.

  • What to expect: A fun and festive evening with dinner, drinks, silent/live auctions, DJ music, dancing, & a live performance by Katherine Ho (Yellow, the Voice)

Physical raffle tickets are due on Friday, March 29, 12pm. Please turn all sold & unsold tickets & money into the lock box or office at either campus, labeled with your student’s name & classroom.

Prizes include a $1000 Amazon gift card, Nintendo Switch, Fitbit & many more!

Lower School: Class that sells the most tickets will get an awesome LEGO PARTY!
Upper School: Kids who sell 25 or more will get extra recess & smoothie party!

Auction Donations

AUCTION DONATIONS – due Friday March 15th
To help make our Auction & Benefit a huge success, we are requesting that each family obtain or donate at least one great item for the auction.

Here are some ideas:

  • Gift cards: Do you have any from Christmas you don’t want for any retail store, restaurants, lessons, health or beauty treatments, etc.? Or, reach out to your favorite establishment for a donation – most businesses love to support their local schools!
  • Physical items: Any electronics, art, and other products should be new or unused.
  • Tickets to sporting or cultural events, travel, or timeshare packages
  • Host an event! Get together with one or two other families for a memorable event. Examples include dinner parties, movie night, casino night, happy hours, swim party, laser tag party, or hiking and a picnic.
