Esther Prokopienko is an educator and school leader with more than 14 years of experience in the Bay Area. Throughout her career, she has served as a teacher, Director of Instruction, and K–12 Principal, leading high-performing schools committed to academic excellence, equity, and student success. Esther holds a doctorate in education and has presented her research internationally.
Having lived and studied in the United States, Australia, England, and Italy, Esther brings a global perspective to her work and a deep belief in the power of multilingual, culturally responsive education. She is passionate about ensuring all students have access to rigorous, meaningful learning experiences that prepare them to thrive academically, socially, and as engaged global citizens. Esther and her family have called the Bay Area home since 2012.
